A British military aircraft has been seen at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, as the UK steps up efforts to evacuate its nationals stranded in Israel amid the worsening regional conflict with Iran.
The RAF transport aircraft, believed to be a C-17 Globemaster, arrived earlier today and is reportedly preparing for repatriation flights to return UK citizens to safety.
UK Evacuation Operation Underway
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has yet to confirm the full details of the operation, but a spokesperson told The Sentinel Current:
“We are working with the Foreign Office to support British nationals in the region. Plans are in place for the safe and secure repatriation of citizens where necessary.”
Reports suggest dozens of British passport holders are currently seeking assistance to leave Israel following sustained missile fire and rising security concerns after coordinated US and Israeli airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.

Commercial airlines have largely suspended operations through Tel Aviv, Doha, and Dubai due to escalating military activity. Passengers have faced delays, diversions, and limited consular access in some areas.
