Harold Hill Brawl: Four Arrested After Violent Fight Leaves Two Women Injured
Police swooped on Harold Hill, Romford, after a brutal fracas left two women hurt and a street sealed off. The drama unfolded on Whitchurch Road just after 11.30am on Saturday, 28 June.
Two Women Hurt in Afternoon Clash
Officers rushed to the scene following reports of a disturbance involving several people. Two women – one in her 30s and another in her 50s – were found injured and quickly taken to hospital. The Metropolitan Police confirmed their wounds are not life-threatening or life-changing.
Four Arrested Over Violent Incident
After initial inquiries, police arrested four suspects at the scene:
- A man in his 60s
- A man in his 30s
- Two women in their 30s
They are all in custody, facing charges of grievous bodily harm and affray. Whitchurch Road was temporarily closed but has now reopened.

“We believe this was an isolated incident. Officers attended and two women, aged in their 50s and 30s, were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.”
