Man Charged After Brutal Attack Leaves Victim Unconscious in Barking
A violent attack at a Barking home has led to a 34-year-old man facing serious charges. The victim was left unconscious after being punched inside a property on Harts Lane.
Attack Sparks Police Response
On May 27, Metropolitan Police rushed to a residential address on Harts Lane following reports of a disturbance. Officers found the victim unconscious, suffering serious injuries.
Paramedics treated him at the scene before taking him to hospital. Thankfully, police confirm his injuries are serious but not life-threatening or life-changing.
Suspect Arrested and Charged
After a thorough probe by the East Area Volume Crime Team, Regan Mambo, 34, also of Harts Lane, was arrested on July 23. He was charged that day with grievous bodily harm (GBH).
Mambo has been remanded in custody and is set to appear in court in August.
Investigation Continues
A Met Police spokesperson confirmed the investigation is ongoing. They urged anyone with information to come forward.
