Sussex Police have launched a fresh appeal after a 16-year-old boy was assaulted in Hove back in May.

The shocking attack happened on Sunday, May 4, at around 8.20pm on Hangleton Road. A woman stormed into a shop and, in what officers say was an unprovoked attack, threatened staff before headbutting the teenage boy.

Victim Left with Facial Injuries

The teenager suffered facial injuries from the violent assault. Police described the suspect as a woman with brown hair, dressed completely in black.

New CCTV Released – Police Want to Speak to Her

Sussex Police have now issued new CCTV images of the suspect and are urging anyone who recognises her to come forward.

“We are keen to speak with this woman as part of our investigation. If you recognise her, or have any information that could assist, please get in touch,” a Sussex Police spokesperson said.
