Urgent Search Underway for Missing 81-Year-Old Woman from Horsley
Surrey Police are desperate to find Jennifer Lewis, an 81-year-old vulnerable woman who vanished from West Horsley last night. Officers are extremely worried about her safety.
Last Seen Leaving Home Late at Night
Jennifer was last spotted at 10.40pm on 5 March when a family member left her home. She’s white, around 5ft tall, medium build, and walks with a stoop. At the time, she wore a grey cardigan, a beaded necklace, and dark brown trousers. She also took a small suitcase with her.
Police Plea: Check Gardens and CCTV
Inspector Neil Lancaster from the West Surrey Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “We are extremely concerned for Jennifer’s welfare and urge anyone who spots her to contact us immediately. The weather has been very wet, so she might have taken shelter somewhere. We ask local residents to check their gardens in case she’s hiding there.”
Inspector Lancaster added, “If you live in the West Horsley area with CCTV, please review footage from 10.40pm yesterday. Jennifer likely left without essentials like her phone, money, or medication, making her vulnerable.”
