Man Staggers to Forecourt Window Covered in Blood
A man was viciously stabbed during a fight and managed to stagger to the night pay window of the petrol station, leaving behind large blood stains. Paramedics arrived swiftly to treat him before rushing him to hospital.
A worker at the garage described the terrifying scene: “A fight broke out, and a man was stabbed. He then came staggering over to the window, asking me to call an ambulance. He looked in a pretty bad way.”
Emergency Services Lockdown Area
Officers from Greenwich quickly sealed off the area with a mass police cordon, placing the BP garage under lockdown.
“Police turned up and put up a cordon,” said the worker. “I was told the garage would have to stay closed for the time being. There were loads of police and ambulance crews at the scene.”
Violence Hits Abbeywood Again in Deadly Night
The Met Police have been approached for comment as the investigation continues. This attack comes just hours after another violent incident rocked Abbeywood — where two men and a boy, aged 14, 18, and 19, were stabbed when a masked gang stormed the Abbeywood Arms pub.
All three victims were hospitalized following the outbreak of violence, raising alarm over the recent spike in knife crime in the area.
