Teen Murdered in Brutal Drive-By Shooting – Five Years On, Family Still Seeks Justice

Rhyhiem Ainsworth Barton was just 17 when he was gunned down in a shocking drive-by shooting on the evening of Saturday, 5 May 2018.

Family Devastated – Justice Still Out of Reach

Rhyhiem’s mother heartbreakingly said: “We have endured five years without Rhyhiem and our family has been broken by his death. Nothing can bring him back and we are still seeking justice for him.”

“My son died needlessly. I pray no other family suffers this pain.”

Suspects Arrested But Released

Two suspects, then aged 17 and 20, were arrested on suspicion of murder in June 2018. However, both were released under investigation, and the case remains open.
