Woman Hit by Bus in Eden Street Horror Crash
Emergency services rushed to Eden Street at around 8.50am on Monday, May 20, after reports of a bus smashing into a pedestrian.
Victim Rushed to Hospital
The victim, a woman in her 20s, was treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service before being taken to hospital. Thankfully, her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Her next of kin have been informed.
Driver Arrested and Bailed
The bus driver was arrested on suspicion of causing injury by careless driving and failing to stop. They have since been bailed while police carry out further enquiries.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is probing the crash. Anyone with CCTV, dashcam footage, or who witnessed the incident is urged to call 020 8543 5157 or 101 quoting CAD 1733/20MAY2024.
