Daring Prison Break Sparks Major Manhunt!

Police are in hot pursuit after two inmates made a bold escape from Sudbury Prison late Friday evening. Filipe Smith and Patrick Gavin vanished at 6:10pm on October 24, triggering a swift and intense manhunt.

The Fugitives: Who Are They?

  • Filipe Smith, 30 – Locked up for six and a half years for importing Class A drugs. Known to hang around Guernsey and Coalville in Leicestershire.
  • Patrick Gavin – Serving five years and one month for GBH with intent in 2020. Has ties to Market Harborough, West Northamptonshire.

Police Issue Urgent Appeal

Derbyshire Police are desperate for tips from the public. A spokesman said:

“We are appealing for public’s help after a pair of convicts absconded from Sudbury Prison.”
