Ramsgate Police Hit Back Hard on Anti-Social Behaviour and Drug Crime

Ramsgate cops have cracked down hard on anti-social behaviour and drug dealing in the town. Between mid-October and early November 2025, three locals were slapped with ten charges for breaking Community Protection Notices (CPNs), while a drug dealer was caught red-handed during a police sting.

CPN Rule Breakers Face the Music

Two scruffians blatantly ignored bans and entered restricted spots in Ramsgate. These CPNs were issued on 10 September following complaints about loud shouting, swearing, and blasting music disturbing the peace.

  • Amanda Francis, 37, and Anthony Manning, 45, both homeless, were hit with five offences each on 17 October.
  • They’re set to face Margate Magistrates Court on 13 November.

Another offender, Scott Davenport, 48, also homeless, was caught repeatedly drinking and loitering despite his CPN. Charged on 4 November with five breaches from September to October, he’s been bailed until 28 November at Margate Magistrates.

Drug Dealer Nabbed With Crack Cocaine in Albion Place Sting

On 1 November, officers on patrol at Albion Place stopped a suspicious car. A search uncovered several deals’ worth of suspected crack cocaine, cash, and a mobile phone.

Krisian Salaj, 29, from Middlesbrough, was charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs plus two driving offences. He appeared at Margate Magistrates on 3 November and has been remanded to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on 1 December.

Ramsgate Police Promise Tough Action to Keep Town Safe

“We understand the misery that antisocial behaviour and drugs bring to communities,” said PC Ryan Brown. “We are committed to tackling these problems with the most robust, proportionate actions.

“Community Protection Notices are vital to protect against nuisance. Where breaches occur, we take action and work hard to clear drugs from our streets for a safer Ramsgate.”
