Wayne Knight, 42, from Neston, has been slapped with a hefty prison sentence for dealing cocaine and other drugs.
Found Red-Handed in Hooton Raid
Knight appeared at Chester Crown Court on 12 March after pleading guilty to multiple drug offences. These included supplying Class A cocaine, plus possession of Class C drugs like Diazepam, Zopiclone, Pregabalin, and Zapain.
During an unrelated police visit to a Hooton address, officers spotted Knight and searched him. They uncovered a bag of white powder – later confirmed as cocaine worth £140-£200 – plus three mobile phones and £560 stash hidden in his sock.

Police then searched Knight’s property, seizing several prescription medications controlled under Class C drugs: Zapain, Pregabalin, Zopiclone, and Diazepam.
Judge Nails Knight with Nearly Four Years in Jail
The court handed Knight a jail term of three years and nine months for his crimes.
DS Tom Philpotts said: “This was a fantastic find by our team and a reminder to those involved in dealing drugs that we could be knocking on your door next.”
