Cop Raid Catches Knight Red-Handed with Cocaine
Wayne Knight was hauled before Chester Crown Court on 12 March after pleading guilty to multiple drug offences. The charges included dealing Class A cocaine and possessing Class C drugs such as Diazepam, Zopiclone, Pregabalin, and Zapain.
Police stopped Knight during a visit to a Hooton address. A quick search revealed a bag of white powder, later confirmed as cocaine worth £140-£200. Officers also found three mobile phones and £560 hidden in his sock.
Prescription Drugs Found After Home Search
Knights’s home was later searched. Officers seized several prescription meds controlled as Class C drugs, including Zapain, Pregabalin, Zopiclone, and Diazepam.
Judge Slams Knight with Nearly Four Years Behind Bars
The court sentenced Knight to three years and nine months in prison for his drug dealing offences.
