James Savage, 33, from Boston, has pleaded not guilty to raping a teenage girl in Lincolnshire. Alongside the rape charge, he also denies child abduction and making threats with a bladed article.
Indecent Images Charge Also Looms
Savage, who is also known as Jay Savage, faces an additional charge of taking indecent images. However, he entered no plea for this offence during his hearing.
Police Arrest Followed Early Morning Assault Report
Lincolnshire Police confirmed Savage was arrested after a serious sexual assault was reported in the early hours of 17 March.
Court Dates Set
- Savage is due in Lincoln Crown Court for a hearing on 26 June.
- The trial is set to begin on 14 September.
