A 70-year-old pilot was dramatically pulled from his single-engine Cessna after it crashed into a busy autoparts store parking lot in Pacoima, California.
Powerlines Strike Sends Plane Flipping
The small aircraft hit high voltage powerlines during its descent, causing it to flip upside down before smashing into the parking lot. Luckily, the pilot was the only person on board.
Emergency Services Rush to the Scene
The Los Angeles Fire Department quickly arrived and treated the injured aviator on site. He was then rushed to a nearby hospital for further care. His current condition remains unknown. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
