Surrey Police have arrested 10 individuals following violent disorder in Epsom Town Centre on and around 15 and 20 April. The arrests span a wide age range and local areas, with suspects released on bail as the investigation continues.

Among those arrested were adults and children, including a 23-year-old man from Richmond-upon-Thames, several teenagers, and children as young as 11 from Epsom. Charges focus on public order offences and criminal damage.

Multiple Arrest Dates

The arrests occurred across several days: 17 April, 20 April, 21 April, 23 April, 24 April, and 27 April, reflecting ongoing police efforts to identify those responsible for the disorder.

Suspects Released On Bail

All ten individuals arrested have been released from custody with bail conditions in place while police continue their investigation into the incidents that shook Epsom Town Centre.

Detective Chief Superintendent Jon Groenen said: “Whilst we support the right to lawful protest, we will investigate those suspected of committing criminal offences and causing damage, disruption, and disorder.”
