Man in his 30s dies after falling from Deptford tower block

A 30-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene after falling from the Aragon Tower on George Beard Road, Deptford. The heartbreaking incident happened early on Thursday morning, March 16.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Police were called at 7:13am following reports of the fall. Officers and the London Ambulance Service quickly arrived. According to the ambulance team, multiple resources were dispatched, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, and a medic in a fast-response car. The first medic reached the scene within five minutes.

Death Treated as Unexpected

The victim’s family has not yet been informed. The Metropolitan Police confirmed the death is being treated as unexpected. Investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances surrounding the fall.

“Unfortunately, a man was declared dead at the scene,” a spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said.
