Drive-By Shooting in Camden: Four Women and Two Kids Hurt Near Euston
Chaos erupted at 1.30pm on Saturday, January 14, when a drive-by shooting rocked Phoenix Road, Camden — just outside Euston station.
Emergency services raced to the scene after reports of gunfire. Four women aged 21, 41, 48, and 54, plus two children aged seven and twelve, were rushed to a Central London hospital. The 48-year-old woman is said to have potentially fatal injuries.
Shocking Eyewitness Account Reveals Panic and Screams
One witness described seeing the black car speeding towards them. “There were screams and panic as people scrambled inside a nearby church,” the witness said. “My son noticed the car coming. Everyone was trying to flee with their children in their arms.”
No Arrests Yet as Police Launch Urgent Probe
Police have launched a full investigation into the brazen shooting. Superintendent Ed Wells warned:
“An investigation into this heinous attack is already well underway, involving local officers and specialist detectives. I can assure the communities of Camden and beyond that we will do everything we possibly can to identify and bring to justice those who were responsible.
Residents can expect to see an increased visible police presence over the weekend and into the coming days.”
