Tragedy on Wiltshire Road as Horse Rider Dies After Collision
A horror crash unfolded at around 3.40pm when a horse and rider were spooked by a motorcycle coming round a blind bend. The horse bolted, causing both to fall.

Tragically, the rider – a woman in her 50s from Melksham – suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family has been informed, with emergency services expressing their condolences during this heartbreaking time.
The motorcyclist and horse escaped with only minor injuries. Police confirmed no arrests have been made.
