Armed Police Swarm Sheerness After Gun Scare
Armed officers flooded Victoria Street in Sheerness this Saturday afternoon following reports of a man allegedly carrying a gun.
Two Guns Seized in Dramatic Police Raid
At around 1.15pm, police swooped on the scene and quickly arrested a 22-year-old man. Officers recovered two BB guns during the operation.
Suspect Held on Firearm Charges
The man was taken into custody on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear or violence. He remains in police custody as inquiries continue.
