Child Hit by Car on Pushbike in Ashford Airlifted to Hospital

A young cyclist was seriously hurt after being hit by a black Audi on Simone Weil Avenue, Ashford, just before 6pm on Sunday.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Emergency teams, including the Kent and Sussex Air Ambulance, responded swiftly to the crash at around 5.45pm. Paramedics worked alongside aircrew to treat the child at the spot.

Child Airlifted to Hospital

Eyewitnesses say the youngster was riding a pushbike when struck by the car. The child was then airlifted to hospital for urgent treatment.

Police are investigating the incident, and no further details on the child’s condition have been released.
