Man Killed and Cyclist Critical After Crash on Creek Road
A man has died and a cyclist was rushed to hospital after a serious collision on Creek Road tonight. The road is shut in both directions between Deptford and Derbyshire while emergency services deal with the aftermath.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
A spokesperson for the Ambulance Service said:
“We were called today (Monday 30) at 4.07pm to reports of a serious crash. Despite our best efforts, one person sadly died at the scene, and another was taken to hospital.”
Road Closures and Traffic Diversions
Creek Road remains closed both ways. Police have set up diversions, with traffic being redirected until further notice.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
The Metropolitan Police are investigating the crash. Anyone with dashcam footage or information is urged to contact police on 101 quoting reference Creek Rd 30/06.
