Doctor Hospitalised After Sidcup Stabbing

A doctor was stabbed at a medical centre in Sidcup earlier today. The attack took place just before 1pm at the health centre on Granville Road.

Police arrived promptly at 12:48pm and found the male doctor, in his 50s, suffering from a knife wound to his arm.

Suspect in Custody as Investigation Continues

The injured doctor was rushed to a south London hospital. Thankfully, his injury was not life-threatening.

A man in his 60s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He is currently being held at a south London police station. Officers from Greenwich’s Met South East Command are leading the investigation.
