Isle of Wight Mystery: Female Hand and Forearm Found on Beach

A female hand and forearm found washed up on an Isle of Wight beach in December have been confirmed by Hampshire Police. The grisly discovery was made at Freshwater Bay by a dog walker.

Police say the remains show signs of being in the water for a long time. However, the full identity of the victim is still unknown.

Ongoing Investigation Into Chilling Discovery

Hampshire Constabulary is continuing its probe into the grim find. So far, no further clues have been revealed about who the skeletal limbs belong to.

A police spokesman said: “We are working to identify the individual and understand the circumstances surrounding this discovery.”
