Five Violent Attacks Hit London in One Day

Londoners woke to chaos as five brutal incidents unfolded across the city within 18 hours on Wednesday, May 21. The Metropolitan Police are investigating a string of attacks, including stabbings in Uxbridge, Kilburn, and Dalston, a shooting in New Addington, plus a violent brawl on a bus. Multiple people were injured, with one man critically ill.

Uxbridge Bus Stabbing – Man Left Fighting for Life

At midnight, a horror fight broke out on the 427 bus at the junction of Uxbridge Road and Harlington Road. Two 18-year-old men were found slashed, one with life-changing injuries. Both suspects were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm at the scene.

Dalston Brawl – 52-Year-Old Man Critical

Just before 8am, emergency crews rushed to Ridley Road, Dalston, after a violent fight left a 52-year-old man with serious wounds. He remains in critical condition in hospital. Police have arrested two men aged 32 and 36 on suspicion of attempted murder.

Kilburn Double Stabbing – Suspect Still on the Run

Around 1:50pm, two 18-year-old males were stabbed on Buckley Road near Streatley Road, Kilburn. Thankfully, their injuries are not life-threatening. Police have made no arrests and are hunting a suspect still at large.

Brunel University Attack – Victim Stable

Later that afternoon at 5:45pm, another stabbing took place near Kingston Lane and Topping Lane close to Brunel University, Uxbridge. The victim suffered multiple stab wounds but is now in stable condition. Police believe this was an isolated incident.

Gunfire in New Addington – Man Hospitalised

At 7:26pm, a man in his 30s was rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after shots were fired in Walsh Crescent, New Addington. No arrests yet. Specialist detectives are leading the probe.

Police Urge Public to Come Forward

The Met Police have appealed for anyone with information on these attacks to get in touch. Witnesses can call 101 or provide anonymous tips via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
