Dad Stabbed Multiple Times in Children’s Playground in Maidstone
A young father was rushed to hospital after a brutal knife attack right in the middle of a children’s play area. The shocking stabbing happened while he was watching his kids at Parkwood Rec on Bicknor Road, Maidstone.
Chaos Erupts Near Primary School
The assault occurred at around 10pm on Sunday 22nd May 2022, outside Holy Family Primary School. Police quickly sealed off the local park, plunging the area into lockdown as officers scrambled to respond.
Emergency Response: Air Ambulance and Armed Police Deployed
Paramedics, air ambulance doctors, armed officers, and several dog units rushed to the scene. The Kent, Sussex, and Surrey air ambulance even landed on Parkwood Rec to treat the victim before airlifting him to a London hospital.
Manhunt Underway for Local Knifeman
The attacker, who is believed to live nearby, fled the scene. Police have launched a manhunt, leaving a large crime scene cordoned off. The victim’s family arrived shortly after and were seen speaking with officers.
Kent Police have been approached for comment as the investigation continues.
