Man Arrested After Stabbing in Reading’s Forbury Gardens
Thames Valley Police have swooped on a man following a stabbing incident in Reading this evening.
Officers and emergency services raced to Forbury Gardens at around 7pm after reports of a stabbing.
Multiple Injured – Police Urge Caution
Several people suffered injuries and were rushed to hospital for urgent treatment.
A man was arrested at the scene and is now in custody as investigations continue.
Police have set up a cordon around Forbury Gardens and are urging the public to steer clear while they work.
Police Appeal and Social Media Warning
“Please do not share images or videos of the incident on social media. Instead, report any material to the police,” Thames Valley Police advised.
Police stress there’s no link between this stabbing and today’s Black Lives Matter protest in Reading.
