Body Found at Monks Ferry in Birkenhead – Man Confirmed Dead

Tragedy struck early Wednesday morning as a man’s body was pulled from the water at Monks Ferry in Birkenhead. Police confirmed the death shortly after 6:10am following a call from a passerby who spotted the man in the water.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Officers from the police, Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service, and the Coastguard swiftly responded to the incident. Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

No Suspicion Surrounding Death

Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious. Enquiries are ongoing to identify the man, inform his next of kin, and establish the full circumstances surrounding his death.
