Heroic Rescue in Dalby Forest After Mountain Biker Breaks Arm
Mountain rescue teams and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance raced to Dalby Forest last night after a mountain biker suffered a severe arm injury.

The Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team revealed, “Last night, Yorkshire Ambulance Service called us to assist a mountain biker with an arm injury in Dalby Forest.”
Several team members training nearby jumped straight into action. A full callout was made, and rescue vehicles sped to the scene.
Air Ambulance Airlift Saves Injured Rider
After assessing the cyclist’s serious injury, the team requested urgently needed backup from Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
A safe landing zone was set up near the Visitor Centre where the casualty was carefully loaded into a Bell stretcher. The biker was airlifted to a waiting ambulance, while two friends were escorted safely to the centre.
This urgent mission highlights the seamless teamwork between mountain rescue and air ambulance crews, saving lives in dramatic style.
