Brutal attack in Croydon leaves man fighting for his life!
Man Found with Serious Head Injuries Near West Croydon Station
Just after midnight on Sunday, 27 February, police on patrol stumbled upon a 38-year-old man with severe head injuries on London Road, close to West Croydon Railway Station. Officers rushed to give first aid before London Ambulance Service arrived.
The victim was rushed to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition. His next of kin have been informed.
Gang of Seven Suspects Flee Scene Towards Centrale Shopping Centre
Sources say the man was attacked by a gang of around seven individuals who fled towards the nearby Centrale Shopping Centre before police got there.
Officers are now urgently hunting the suspects. They’ve already interviewed several witnesses and are combing through CCTV footage from the area.
