Emergency services rush to Cowes after Ford Transit crashes into tree
Crash chaos near Mill Hill Road and Victoria Road
Emergency crews were scrambled to Cowes following a shocking single-vehicle crash. A blue Ford Transit careered off the road and smashed into a tree close to the junction of Mill Hill Road and Victoria Road.
One woman injured but injuries not serious
Police and paramedics arrived swiftly. Isle of Wight Ambulance Service confirmed one woman is being treated for injuries that are not thought to be serious. She was trapped after the van squeezed between a wall and a tree before the crash.
Road closures as police investigate
Authorities have shut a small section of road while they carry out investigations. Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area.
