Two Arrested After Havant Violent Disorder Shocks Leigh Park

Police have swooped on a chaotic violent disorder that erupted in Leigh Park on Sunday, 8 July. Two suspects were hauled in following a series of dangerous driving and cycling incidents that left the local community rattled.

Dangerous Driving and Cycling Spells Trouble

Officers responded to reports of reckless drivers and cyclists tearing through the streets. Some were spotted driving on the wrong side of the road and intentionally blocking traffic in the Leigh Park area, sparking public safety fears.

Two Suspects in Custody

  • A 22-year-old man from Havant has been arrested for violent disorder and grievous bodily harm.
  • A 17-year-old Havant boy faces the same charges plus assaulting a police officer.

Both have since been released but remain under investigation. A third man, 19, was also arrested but later released with no further action.

Police Call for Witnesses
