Nottingham Police Hunt Man After Daylight Sexual Assault on Busy City Street
Nottinghamshire Police are urgently searching for a man caught on CCTV after a brazen sexual assault in Nottingham city centre.
Morning Attack Shocks Pelham Street Shoppers
The shocking incident happened just after 9.30am on Tuesday, December 2, right in the heart of bustling Pelham Street. A woman in her 20s was targeted when a suspect approached and inappropriately placed his hand near her groin. The victim fought back, pushing him away and forcing him to run off.
CCTV Snaps Prime Suspect – No Arrests Yet
Police have fast-tracked CCTV footage of the suspect, pleading for the public to help identify him. Despite multiple lines of inquiry, officers have yet to make an arrest.
PC Temeesha Hobbs said: “This incident has understandably caused a great deal of distress for the victim and we are determined to catch the person responsible. We have released an image of a man that could help us with our investigation and are calling on the public’s help to identify him. Do you know the man in the image? Are you the man in the image? Please get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
A police spokesperson added: “Officers have released an image of a man they wish to trace after a woman was subjected to a sexual assault in the city centre.”

The victim is reported to be deeply distressed following the assault. Police urgently ask anyone who recognises the man in the footage to come forward immediately to aid the investigation.
