Man Arrested After Triple Stabbing in Toxteth
A man is in custody following a brutal triple stabbing in Toxteth, Liverpool. The attack left one man dead and two others seriously wounded.
Targeted Attack Shocks Local Community
The savage incident happened around 1pm on Sunday in a communal area of a block of flats on Upper Warwick Street, near Hillaby Close and Upper Warwick Place. Police described the stabbing as “targeted,” sending shockwaves through the neighbourhood.
The victim who lost his life is a 28-year-old man. Detective Chief Inspector Allison Woods called the attack “shocking” and confirmed a 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and wounding.
Two Others Hospitalised in Serious Conditions
- A man in his 30s remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.
- A woman, also in her 30s, is in serious but stable condition.
Investigators Urge Witnesses to Speak Out
Police have sealed off the area as forensic teams comb the scene for evidence. Detective Chief Inspector Woods is appealing to anyone who saw the attack or has information to come forward and assist the investigation.
