Two Stabbed in Shocking Belmont Road Brawl – Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Nearby
Violent Clash Near Gordon Arms
Police were called to Belmont Road at 8:52pm tonight following reports of a fight between men. Officers found two men with stab wounds near the Gordon Arms pub.
Both victims were rushed to hospital and, thankfully, their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Hit-and-Run Horror Just Moments Later
Shortly after the stabbing, police were alerted to a hit-and-run involving a van and pedestrian close to Slades Drive.
A man in his thirties died at the scene. The van failed to stop and fled the area.
Police Launch Urgent Appeal
Officers are now hunting the driver responsible and urge anyone with information to come forward.
