Woman Stabbed in Broad Daylight in New Cross

Police rushed to Parkfield Road near Lewisham Way just before 9am on Friday, May 24 after reports of a stabbing. Officers found a woman in her 30s with stab wounds. Emergency services, including London Ambulance Service, treated her on scene before rushing her to hospital.

Victim Stable Despite Stab Wounds

Medical teams later confirmed the woman’s injuries were serious but not life-threatening or life-changing. Despite the shock, she is expected to recover. The Met Police are carrying out urgent investigations but have made no arrests so far.

Police Hunting Witnesses After Morning Attack

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:

“On Friday, 24 May police responded to Lewisham Way at around 09:00hrs following reports of a stabbing. Officers attended with London Ambulance Service and treated a woman in her 30s. She was taken to hospital, where her condition was assessed as stable. No arrests have been made at this early stage. Specialist officers are conducting enquiries into the circumstances.”
