Teen Brutally Attacked on Hastings Promenade – Police Hunt Thugs

Shock in Hastings as a 13-year-old boy was viciously assaulted in broad daylight. Police are urgently appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Unprovoked Attack on Hastings Promenade

The young victim was strolling along the upper promenade on Grand Parade, near Warrior Square, at about 4pm on Monday, November 28. Out of nowhere, a group of two boys and a girl – one riding a black scooter – charged at him. They headbutted him before landing punches to his face.

Suspects Flee Towards Hastings Pier

The attackers were all dressed in black and fled the scene, heading towards Hastings Pier. The injured boy was rushed to Conquest Hospital for treatment.

Police Launch Appeal for Witnesses

Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who saw the attack or the group hanging around the area at the time. If you have information, report it online or call 101 quoting serial 1180 of 28/11.
