Man Arrested in Croydon Over Fatal Morden Stabbing

A 29-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday, 21 October at a Croydon address on suspicion of murder. He is currently being held at a west London police station.

Late-Night Stabbing Shocks Morden

Police were called just before 11pm on Thursday, 1 October to reports of a stabbing outside a block of flats on London Road, Morden.

Emergency teams found two men with stab wounds at the scene. Despite paramedics’ best efforts, 33-year-old Patrick Gomes De’Almeida was pronounced dead at 11.26pm.

One Survives, Three Charged

The second victim, aged 33, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

So far, three men have been charged in connection with the murder. Police investigations continue.
