Man Arrested After Brutal Pole Attack in SW16
Luke Bowyer, 35, from Leigham Court Road, SW16, was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, three counts of assault by beating, and one count of criminal damage following a violent attack on Wednesday, 25 November.

The shocking incident unfolded at 3.23pm when police were called to Leigham Court Road after reports a man was attacking people with a pole. Officers quickly arrived and arrested Bowyer near the scene.
Justice on the Horizon
Bowyer appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court just two days later, on Friday, 27 November. He was remanded and will face further charges at Inner 1 Crown Court on 4 January.
