Corsham Man Arrested After Beer Bottle Row at Local Londis
Jamie Lee Sharman-Palmer, 33, from Dicketts Road, Corsham, faced Swindon Crown Court today. He pleaded guilty to causing trouble at the Londis store on Pickwick Road on May 5.
Beer Bottle Sparks Argument
At 7.40 p.m., police were called after Sharman-Palmer picked up a bottle of beer and asked staff to open it. When they refused, an argument broke out. Sharman-Palmer stormed out but came back to continue the row.
Quick Arrest in Tight-Knit Community
Officers got a description and swiftly arrested Sharman-Palmer. Detective Constable Ryan Churchley said the incident rattled the close Corsham community.
“Sharman-Palmer’s actions clearly made the staff member feel fearful and concerned for his safety,” said Det Con Churchley. “I’m glad we secured a conviction and brought him to justice.”
