90 Nabbed in Massive Unlicensed Rave Bust
Detectives have spent 21 relentless months cracking the case of an illegal music festival that rocked Bostal Road and nearby areas overnight on 27-28 June 2021. The haul? Around 90 arrests after officers swooped on the scene and intercepted motorists linked to the rave.
Convictions and New Charges Mount Up
So far, 66 partygoers have been convicted of traffic offences, including drink-driving and drug-driving. But the saga isn’t over.
Postal requisitions have been issued against several individuals for fresh offences tied to the unlicensed event.
Rave Ringleaders Face Serious Charges
- Paul Rummey, 41, from Old Basing, Hampshire, faces public nuisance charges for ferrying rave equipment and possession of Class A drugs (MDMA).
- Rhodri Munro, 39, of Bournemouth, Dorset, is also charged with causing a public nuisance for transporting rave gear.
- Arron John, 30, from Pembrokeshire, caught up in equipment transportation accusations.
- Andrew Fealty, 37, from Poole, linked to public nuisance over rave logistics.
- Maxwell Cafferata, 23, of Sherborne, Dorset, accused of the same.
- Declan Barnes, 27, from Gloucestershire, faces charges for causing a public nuisance and possession of Class A drugs (cocaine).
Next Stop: Court
All six suspects are set to stand before Worthing Magistrates’ Court on 25 April. The fight against unlicensed raves shows no sign of slowing down.
