Teen Stabbed to Death in Edgware Park Brawl
Police were scrambled to Montrose Park, Edgware, at 5.54pm on Monday, May 31, after reports of a violent fight between a group of males.
Officers found an 18-year-old man stabbed in the tennis courts. London’s Air Ambulance and paramedics rushed to the scene, but despite desperate efforts, he was declared dead at 7.19pm.
10 Males Arrested Over Fatal Fight
A post-mortem is scheduled for Thursday, June 3. Police believe they know the victim’s identity but are still informing next of kin.
In connection with the stabbing, 10 males aged from their teens to early 20s have been arrested. Charges include affray and murder. All remain in police custody.
The crime scene in Montrose Park remains sealed off as investigations continue.

Detective Chief Inspector Claire Hine said: “The park was busy with people enjoying the Bank Holiday sunshine when this horrific incident unfolded. We’ve spoken to several witnesses and want to hear from anyone with information, video, or images that could help.”
“A young man has lost his life in violent circumstances, and it’s vital we understand exactly what happened.”
Detective Superintendent Barry Loader added: “Residents will see a boost in police patrols following this tragedy. Our thoughts are with the victim’s family. If you know anything that could assist the investigation, please come forward.”
