Big Guns Bust Across Kent: 17 Arrested in Major Firearms Crackdown
Kent Police have launched a sweeping investigation across multiple hotspots, including Swanscombe, Sittingbourne, Dartford, and Canterbury. Their operation has smashed a suspected firearms network, resulting in 17 arrests over two days.
Eleven Nabbed in Early Raid, Six More Follow
On Tuesday, March 31, police swooped on multiple locations, arresting eleven suspects. The hunt didn’t stop there. Another six arrests came the very next day in Faversham, Swanscombe, and Greenhithe.
Six Charged and Facing Court
Six individuals now face firearms charges and are set to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, April 4, 2026. The accused are:
- Shane Treeby, 27, Pinewood Drive, Chatham
- Hannah Strong, 33, Lansdowne Square, Northfleet
- Peter McGregor, 66, Kirby Road, Dartford
- Harry Milson, 23, Stanley Road, Swanscombe
- Daniel Reeves, 37, Lansdowne Square, Northfleet
- Harrison Holmes, 21, Tooley Street, Northfleet
Additional Drug and Weapon Charges Hit Several Suspects
Harrison Holmes faces extra charges for selling a firearm without a certificate, possession of a bladed article, and cocaine possession.
Both Hannah Strong and Daniel Reeves are charged with supplying cocaine, while Peter McGregor is accused of possessing cocaine with the intent to supply.
Bail and Custody Status
- A 14-year-old boy, a 15-year-old boy, and three men (aged 23, 26, and 56) arrested on March 31 have been granted bail, with court dates set for June.
- Six men, aged between 19 and 46, arrested on April 1 remain in police custody as enquiries continue.
This crackdown sends a clear message: Kent police are zeroing in on illegal firearms and drug activity with full force.
