Man Arrested After Doncaster Alleyway Murder
A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the shocking death of 42-year-old Sheldon Jameson in Doncaster.
Jameson was found with severe injuries in an alley between Apley Road and Whitburn Road, Hyde Park, on Thursday morning, September 19. He was rushed to hospital but tragically died from his wounds.
Police Launch Major Investigation
South Yorkshire Police immediately launched an investigation into the brutal attack. The suspect remains in custody, though his identity has not been released.
Meanwhile, a 47-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has since been released on bail but remains under investigation.
Crime Scene Cordoned Off and Reopened
The alleyway between Apley Road and Whitburn Road was sealed off as officers combed the scene for evidence. The area has now reopened to the public, but police continue their inquiries.
