Man Charged with Murder of 21-Year-Old in Harlesden Stabbing

Detectives have charged a man over the murder of 21-year-old Meshach Williams, who was fatally stabbed on Harlesden’s High Street in April 2019.

Dominic Calder Arrested and Charged

Dominic Calder, 19, from Redmead Road, Hayes, Middlesex, was arrested on Tuesday, 14 May and charged the next day with murder, possession of an offensive weapon, and possession of cannabis.

Calder is currently in custody and is set to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 15 May 2019.

Stabbing Incident Details

  • The stabbing took place at 9:07pm on Tuesday, 23 April 2019.
  • Police were called by the London Ambulance Service after reports of a stabbing on High Street, Harlesden, NW10.
  • Officers found Meshach Williams with stab wounds and he was rushed to hospital.
  • Williams was pronounced dead at 2:47am on 24 April.

A post-mortem confirmed the cause of death was a stab wound. Next of kin have been informed.
