Man charged with murder after fatal Deptford stabbing

A 44-year-old man has been charged over the deadly stabbing of Robert Robinson in Deptford. The brutal attack happened on Carteret Way, SE8, on June 6.

Dalziell Wedderburn in the dock

Dalziell Wedderburn, one of two arrested soon after the incident, now faces a murder charge. He is set to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, June 10.

Second suspect released on bail

The other man taken into custody, a 50-year-old, has been released on bail as investigations continue. The Met Police homicide unit is probing the case vigorously and appealing for witnesses.
