Man left with Head Injury two Arrested

Two men have been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Canterbury. At around 10pm on Friday 23 March a man in his 50s was getting into a vehicle with another man in Oaten Hill Place when he was assaulted. The victim received a head injury and was taken to hospital for treatment. A 20-year-old man and a 50-year-old man, both from Chartham, were arrested on Thursday 28 June on suspicion of assault. They have been released pending further investigation. Officers continue to appeal for witnesses and ask that anyone with information about the assault is asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting ZY/14942/18.
