Motorcyclist Critically Hurt in Barnet Crash – Police Hunt Witnesses

Serious Collision on Bunns Lane

A Yamaha scooter and a VW Polo smashed into each other on Bunns Lane, Barnet, at around 7:40pm on Monday, 11 November. The smash left the 28-year-old motorcyclist fighting for life in a north London hospital.

Emergency services, including police and the London Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene. The VW Polo’s driver, a 19-year-old lad, and two 17-year-old passengers stayed put and were also taken to hospital as a precaution.

Driver Arrested but Released on Bail

The 19-year-old driver of the VW Polo was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He’s now out on bail as cops dig deeper into what caused the nasty crash.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are urgently calling for anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage to get in touch. They say every snippet of info could be vital to the investigation.
