Police want the public’s help to ID a cyclist caught up in a nasty scrap at Bushy Park, Teddington.

Man in 60s Seriously Hurt After Argument

Officers were called to the scene at 1.38pm on Saturday, 28 December after reports of an altercation. Paramedics arrived to find a man in his 60s with a severe leg injury.

The victim was rushed to hospital for surgery. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.

Suspect Flees Scene on Mountain Bike

The injured man got hurt after an argument with a cyclist — who sped off as soon as the incident went down.

The suspect is described as:

  • White male, 30-40 years old
  • Tall and large build
  • Clean-shaven, with a London accent
  • Wearing a grey tracksuit with blue stripes
  • Riding a mountain bike

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Cops are keen to track down the cyclist. Anyone who thinks they know him should call Police on 101, quoting reference 3234/28DEC, or tweet @MetCC.
