Hit-and-Run Shocker in Stirling: Woman Left Seriously Injured

Police are hunting for witnesses after a hit-and-run on King Street, Stirling, left a pedestrian badly hurt.

Grey VW Golf Flees Scene

The incident happened around 2.20pm on Saturday, 14 January. A 63-year-old woman was crossing the street when she was struck by a grey VW Golf, which had been parked nearby. The driver didn’t stop and sped off towards Corn Exchange Road.

Emergency Services Race to Save Victim

The injured woman was rushed to Forth Valley Hospital with a serious leg injury. Sergeant Lee Walkingshaw said, “Our investigations are ongoing, and we are eager to find the driver.”

Police Plea: Check Your Dashcams

Sergeant Walkingshaw added, “If anyone was nearby at the time, please check your dashcams and contact us. If you saw what happened or know where the car went, get in touch.”
