Man Charged Over Travel Agent Raided at Gunpoint in Chatham

Robbery detectives have charged Daryl Cook following a dramatic theft at a Chatham travel agent.

Gun Threat Sparks Investigation

The 36-year-old was arrested by Kent Police on Wednesday 26 May after a violent robbery on High Street on 12 February. Several victims reported being threatened with a firearm during the terrifying ordeal.

Charged and in Custody

Cook faces two charges: robbery and possession of a firearm to commit an indictable offence. He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 27 May.
